Corporate Policy Group

The Corporate Policy Group (CPG) coordinates and links the work of the various SPCs and acts as a forum where policy decisions affecting the entire council can be agreed for recommendation to the full council. The CPG acts as a form of cabinet for the council and is supported by the County Manager. The CPG consists of the mayor, who chairs the group, together with the cathaoirligh of each of the SPCs. They meet with the County Manager and other council officials monthly.
